About the Author

Welcome to Anita’s Desk

~~~~~~~~~
My Desk is about information… from the funny to the unjust. It’s about relationships, current events, the latest technology or scam, an injustice; and sometimes, whatever just pops into my mind.  Periodically, I may come across something that I think may interest you.  I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
As for me… I’m a writer, an avid reader, and a firm believer in ending a bad day with a good book.  I’ve been called a geek, a nerd, and a serious prankster, and I like it that way. (I’m also anti-social, but my friends tend to argue that point).  I’ve never claimed to be perfect (or sane for that matter), but living by faith gets me through the rough stuff.
***I am currently working on 2 books.  One is a psychological thriller– my favorite genre.  The other is a nonfiction detailing my journey with God.  I’m also toying with the idea of a couple of short stories.  I will post updates when these books are completed.
  1. I ran across your blog and was delighted to find another writer using the Visual theme from wordpress. Love what you’ve done with the site and agree with you on ending the day with a book.
  3. Just a little explanation about Klout. It is a service (free) that takes into consideration all of your platforms like Twitter, Face book, your blog, (your web presence) and gives you an idea of your influence on others and across the web. It’s an interesting site (in my opinion.) 🙂 Hope that helps. Donna
      Thank you, Donna! When I first saw “my page” there, I was a little freaked out because I had never been to the site before, and it showed my website, and other info. That was kind of strange, and it felt sort of stalker-ish. LOL!
    Would love to read your thoughts on animal abuse, neglect, puppy mills, etc! You know what an avid animal lover I am!
      Do NOT get me started! LOL!
      Awhile back, I did write a little on that subject. It came about because of the drama of adopting a dog, and the resulting freak parade. I might have to touch on that subject again soon.
      Thanks for your comment. I truly appreciate your support!
